We are devoted to excellence.  Defending Good Science isn't a hobby, or a sideline for us.  New technologies are constantly being developed, and with those technologies arise questions of risk. 

For the sake of your company, and the sake of the future well-being, those questions need to be answered based on good science, not rhetoric or innuendo.

Checkmate is a niche firm, with unique clients.  Our clients mean the world to us.  Which means we do things that no other firm does. 

We take phone calls at 3am.  We spend our weekends hanging out on fish farms or research stations.  We're dedicated to "Defending Good Science."  It's all we do.  Period.

We LOVE what we do... and what we do best is helping our clients build trust and credibility.  It makes us feel good when our clients do well.

Oddly enough - making our clients say, "Wow," isn't even all that difficult... 

... it's looking after the little things - like not nickel and dime charging for every phone call.  Or traveling overnight, across country, to get to a training session on time - and then not charging when the presentation was cancelled due to an equipment malfunction (which wasn't our fault.)

And when someone is paying us for our professional opinion, we won't sacrifice our credibility just to make things simpler.  Sometimes it means having to make tough decisions about who we represent.   But in the end, you'll respect us even more.

Don't you deserve to say "Wow?"
